Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By accessing https://inferencebrief.co or subscribing to the Inference newsletter you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
2. The service
Inference is a weekly AI newsletter and web application operated by Matthew Paver. We provide:
- A free weekly newsletter covering AI news relevant to builders
- A web application for reading issues, managing preferences, and bookmarking articles
- Pro plan features (early access, personalisation, bookmarks) available by paid subscription
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice where practicable.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must provide an accurate email address. Accounts may not be shared or transferred. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for abuse.
4. Subscriptions and billing
Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Prices are shown on the pricing page in GBP inclusive of any applicable tax.
Cancellation: You may cancel at any time from your account page. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are given for unused time unless required by law.
Refunds: If you believe a charge was made in error, contact support@inferencebrief.co within 14 days and we will review it.
Price changes: We will give at least 30 days notice of any price increase via the newsletter and email. Continuing to subscribe after that date constitutes acceptance.
5. Content and intellectual property
All editorial content, summaries, and takes published on Inference are the property of Matthew Paver. You may share individual articles by link. You may not:
- Reproduce or republish issue content in full without permission
- Scrape or crawl the site for bulk data extraction
- Use AI-generated LinkedIn posts (generated via the Share feature) for commercial promotional purposes without attribution
Article titles and summaries link to original sources. We do not claim ownership of third-party content.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to: violate any applicable law; send spam; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service; interfere with or disrupt servers or networks; or engage in any activity that could damage, disable, or overburden the service.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Inference is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Content is for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, legal, or professional advice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via the newsletter. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
